Christa played at Memorial Church as assistant organist in the late ’70s and early ’80s, on Fisk’s Opus 46, an organ Fisk called a “caged animal” for being confined to the Appleton Chapel, an enclosed space, when he had hoped it would be placed where Opus 139 is now, in the rear gallery of the church.
