It’s Halloween, Oct. 31, and our Kickstarter campaign is keeping pace, with over $10,000 raised against $15,000 with 11 days yet to go.  We still need a little more help between now and Nov. 12th at 8AM.  Please consider a donation, even a small one, and pass this info on.  This film needs to be finished now!

Our Kickstarter…

The Opus 139 Project: To Hear the Music  is a film about a company that, in an age of discardable products, builds instruments meant to last hundreds of years, in much the same way that they were built to last hundreds of years ago for the great cathedrals of Europe. The company is CB Fisk, and its founder, Charles Fisk (1925-1983), when asked why he did what he did, said “to hear the music better.” This is a film about exquisite craftsmanship and the music it serves; about a uniquely collaborative workplace and a process that begins with the casting of lead and tin into pipes, and ends, nearly three years later, with the glory of an Inaugural Easter Concert in the organ’s intended home: Memorial Church, Harvard University.

This independent documentary film should be finished and seen.  With this in mind, the producers are running a Kickstarter campaign for finishing funds.  Please visit that page and get involved as you can:
